James, may I respectfully ask you, WHY BLACK WHEELS? If the Fly Yellow one above did not have those yellow calipers, those wheels would just disappear. If that car had some test wheels that were different kind in the front and rear, I could understand you would not want to the visual distraction from one shape to the other. So, painting them black would and does make sense on test or development cars, where you wish for others not to see the design. But WHY would you want to have beautiful wheels to disapear? Why not paint them Anthracite or the color of the brake pad dust? But BLACK? For when BLACK, they may as well be steel wheels and the money saved can be put to better use, perhaps. Please enlighten me. Thank you

If they were REALLY made of CF, like Christian’s on the K-egg or those chaps who make TRUE CF wheels in Australia, perhaps. But even those you can see are NOT solid black as the mat gives the appearance some texture. But BLACK wheels, I just don’t get it. If the were ugly and you were embarassed to have such on your car, than YES, paint them black, to make them disappear. But a great looking wheel painted black ...
